The Process
Every Color & Pour piece is handcrafted in a Pittsford, NY studio through a slow, intentional process using ceramic resin—a blend of finely ground ceramic powder and water. Each piece is mixed, poured, and refined by hand, ensuring no two are exactly alike. Acrylic paint and mica powder are carefully blended to create signature hues, bringing warmth and personality to every design. While perfection is always the goal, subtle variations like tiny bubbles or slight color shifts are a natural part of the handmade process—adding to the charm and uniqueness of each creation. At Color & Pour, every detail matters, and the right colors and textures can brighten a space and lift the mood.
Meet the Maker
Hi, I'm Mandy-
With a background in retail finance, my creative side was always waiting for its moment to shine. I've always been drawn to beautiful, thoughtful pieces that make a house feel more like home, and Color & Pour was born from that passion.
My journey with ceramic resin started when I made a crystal candle for a friend. Looking at the bowl I had purchased, I thought, I could probably make this myself. That small spark of curiosity quickly turned into a creative obsession, and I've been pouring, sanding, and creating ever since.
I've always believed that the little details in a space can have a big impact on how it feels. Whether it's a Mahjong accessory that makes game night more special, a catchall dish that keeps your favorite jewelry close by, or a decorative piece that makes you smile every time you walk past it, I love creating items that are both beautiful and functional.
Every Color & Pour piece is handcrafted in small batches in my Pittsford, New York studio using eco-friendly, non-toxic materials. As a woman-owned, USA-made brand, sustainability and quality are at the heart of everything I create. My goal is simple- to make pieces you'll love using every day and gifting when you find something too good not to share.
Before Color & Pour, I founded Lasting Leaves, a brand specializing in custom faux succulent arrangements. While the materials may be different, the mission remains the same- creating thoughtful, handcrafted pieces that bring personality, beauty, and joy into everyday life.
